I've bought braces before and they all slid down. Why is this different?
Most sleeves rely on friction against your arm, which loses every time to gravity and movement. This one has a strap that runs across your chest and anchors to your torso. That's the whole mechanical difference, and it's the reason it stays where you put it.
Can I wear it under a shirt at work?
Yes. It's flat knit with no buckles or hard panels, so it sits under a shirt or uniform without much of an outline. You can type, drive and lift in it.
Left or right shoulder?
Either. One brace, both sides — there's no version to pick.
How do I pick a size?
Measure across the back of your shoulders, from the outer edge of one to the other. Don't use your shirt size, it won't match. The chart is on the product page. If you fall between two sizes, go up: a brace that's slightly loose still supports the joint, while one that's too tight comes off within a week. Swaps are free both ways for 60 days.
Won't it be hot to wear all day?
It's knit rather than neoprene, so air passes through it. That's the main reason people give up on the moulded kind — within an hour they're warm and damp.
Can I sleep in it?
Most people do. There's nothing rigid to dig in when you roll over.
Will it help a torn rotator cuff?
We can't tell you that, and anyone who does is guessing. It's a compression support, not a treatment. If you have a diagnosed tear or you've been told you need surgery, ask your doctor whether compression is appropriate for you.
I'm buying it for my husband and he won't measure himself.

How should I wash it?
Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Don't tumble dry — heat shortens the life of the elastic.
